Bomber Command

You are a gunner on a B-17 bomber in WW2. Your primary objective is to fly unescorted to the target in Germany, and destroy it. 

Your secondary objective is to take recon photos of various potential targets along the way.

Bomber Command is a simple, single player, 2D, top down action game, in which you control the flight of the bomber, anti-fighter machine gun fire, and repairs to damaged bomber systems.

Bomber Command is not a detailed historical simulation, but more an arcade-style  action game. However, the background images in the game are derived from actual WW2 recon photos.
